So, whenever there is a scheduled tour, it is advised to consider enough water supply, along with some energy drinks to keep the body's fluid balance.
Also, wearing sun protection is essential for just about any visitor to the island. While many make use of the Samui weather to get a tan, the skin may become dry and patchy when exposed to the sun's rays. Using lotion with SPF or sun protection factor of 15 and above is highly recommended. The harmful sunrays could cause sunburn, age spots, and at its worse, skin cancer. Had better be safe than sorry.

As it is located at the tropics, Samui is also vulnerable to rain showers and thunderstorms. Over these times, it is best to avoid the beach and stay indoors, simply to be on the safe side.
